Export Voting History for TEAM
During an election cycle, export voting history every day to report voting activity, according to the voting method that is being reported.
- Mail ballot voting. Beginning when ballots are returned, which may be before the early voting period.
- Early voting. Beginning the first day of the early voting period, which is usually the 17th day before Election Day. Exception: Early voting for elections held in May starts the 12th day before the election.
- Election day voting. Beginning the day after the Election Day.
In addition, Texas law Section 18.069 of Texas Election Code requires all records be submitted for each voter participating in the election no later than the 30th day after the date of the primary, runoff primary, or general election or any special election ordered by the governor.
There are several processes that can impact the data that is included with voting history. See Process Voting History Data for an overview with links to more detailed information.

- First, do the following to ensure the most current voting history for the election is applied to all voter records:
- Verify the correct election is in focus. If not, click Change Election Status on the Console and select the election.
- Go to ELECTIONS > Reconcile History > Update Voting History, and then click the Update Voting History button. This program transfers voting data from temporary working files to individual voter records. And it does several other necessary housekeeping tasks within the county's database. To learn more, see Run the Update Voting History Program.
- Go to VOTER REGISTRATION > TEAM Interface > Export Voter History Data.
- Select the applicable election for the export. Only data from the selected election will be included in the exported file.
- Click Confirm to continue.
- Accept the default location to save the file or browse to another location. The default location is the Worksig > TEAM Files > Export to TEAM folder on the drive where Voter Focus is installed, which is typically Drive I.
- Enter a name for the file, according to your county's convention, and click Save. The Voter History to TEAM Results dialog displays.
- Do any of the following:
- Click Continue to export the file in ASCII format to the location selected in step 3. Data from this exported file can then be imported in TEAM.
- Click Print to print the results to a print destination of your choosing.
- Click Export to save the file in Excel (XLSX) format to a location of your choosing.
You are then prompted to confirm the export and are given the last export date and time. This export will contain all the voting history updates recorded since the last export.

Below are the columns that will always be present in the exported file, provided data is available, and their positions.
